What Is A Home Inspection
A property inspection is a survey and basic operation of the systems and components of a building which can be reached, entered, or viewed without difficulty, moving obstructions or requiring any action which may result in damage to the property or personal injury to the home inspector. The purpose of the inspection is to provide the client with information regarding the general condition of the building(s). Cosmetic and aesthetic conditions shall not be considered. Our home inspections include a 90 day home warranty.
How To Choose A Home Inspector
Choosing a Residential and Commercial Inspector is not an easy task. With so many to choose from how do you know if you're choosing the right one? When you're spending hundreds of thousands on a property you want to make sure you're inspector has all the qualifications, experience and knowledge to educate you on your investment. Here are some questions that you can ask the inspection company your interviewing:
- Are they Certified?
- Are they affiliated with a recognized association eg: CREIA, NACHI, ASHI?
- Do they hold E&O Insurance?
- How many pages will the report be? This is a very important question: A thorough report should be atleast 50 Pages or more.
- An inspection company that ONLY does inspections so you will get an unbiased opinion.
- One who's willing to take the time to answer all your questions during the inspection and after.
- What do they inspect and what's included in the inspection?
- Is it a narrative report or check list?
- Do they take color photos?

- We do not charge extra for age, condition of home and crawlspace.

- Prices vary slightly between home inspection companies.
This price difference is typically influenced by inspector certifications, experience, services, insurance coverage and qualifications.
**Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the day of inspection. Those that are not, will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the inspection price.
